About Blossom & Bloom Day Nursery

Blossom and Bloom Day Nursery was established in Yapton in 2022 and offers a nurturing early years environment for children aged 0–3. Set within a beautiful open-plan space, the nursery provides free-flow access to a secure, well-maintained garden, allowing children to move naturally between indoor and outdoor play throughout the day. Our day nursery space is designed to feel like a true home-from-home, where learning is guided by curiosity, exploration, and each child’s individual interests. Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace, building confidence and independence in a calm and caring environment.

Our baby room is a Scandinavian-inspired space, thoughtfully created to stimulate young minds while remaining soothing and uncluttered. Natural tones, gentle textures, and purposeful resources support early development while helping babies feel safe, settled, and curious about the world around them.

The team at Blossom and Bloom are highly qualified, experienced, and deeply passionate about early childhood development. More importantly, they bring warmth, intuition, and genuine care—qualities that can’t be taught and are found only in truly exceptional childcare practitioners. Every member of our team understands the lasting impact they have on a child’s early years and takes that responsibility to heart.

We are proud to have a sister setting, Potter’s House Preschool and Forest School, also based in Yapton. Established in 2017 for children aged 2–4, Potter’s House is set within an acre of land and places outdoor learning and exploration at the heart of its ethos. Children enjoy continuous access to a rich and varied outdoor environment, including woodland and a dedicated Forest School area where they can toast marshmallows, bake bread, and gather around a campfire.

Alongside its core early years curriculum, Potter’s House offers a wide range of enriching extracurricular experiences, including dance, multi-sports, farm visits, role-play cities, and hands-on interactions with animals. The setting is highly regarded within the local community and consistently receives 5-star feedback from parents.

Together, Blossom and Bloom and Potter’s House Preschool provide a seamless, nurturing early years journey—rooted in care, curiosity, and a deep respect for childhood.

All Year Monday - Friday

8am - 6pm

Our front door opens at 8:00 for children to come in to the cloakroom, find their peg and get ready for a fun filled day. We all love messy child led sensory play, so don't wear your best clothes!

We alternate music and dancing with yoga relaxation as part of our morning routine. This strongly encourages physical development and gross motor skills but also releases endorphins and boosts energy levels as well as so many other developmental benefits.

The rest of the day is child-led, they are able to choose what toys they would like out and all of our structured learning and craft is done when the children are ready and open to it.

Funding we offer:

Meet Blossom's Manager

Emily x

My name is Emily Beckett, and I am the Manager of Blossom and Bloom, with eight years of experience in early years education.
My journey began when my daughter attended Wonderland, where I was inspired by the warm, home-from-home environment. This led me to join Blossom and Bloom, where I progressed to Manager while raising my two young daughters.
As both an early years professional and a parent, I understand how important it is for families to feel confident and reassured. At Blossom and Bloom, we prioritise creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels comfortable, heard, and happy because we believe children learn best when they feel secure and valued.
