Funding Offers

West Sussex County Council (WSCC) offers early years funding, which includes 15 universal hours for all 3 and 4 year-olds, plus up to an additional 15 hours for eligible working parents, making a total of 30 hours.

Additional funding is available, with a phased expansion to provide 30 hours for children from 9 months old from September 2025.

There is also specific funding for eligible 2-year-olds and supplementary funding for things like the Early Years Pupil Premium.

EYPP is used to provide entitled children with experiences they would not typically be exposed to and opportunities they would otherwise not have such as additional staffing to allow for trips to the beach and local parks, outside companies coming in to provide specific activities, an enrichment program and additional send support.

No top up fees, no restrictions and no ‘non funded lunch hours’.
